The firm is in Passariano di Codroipo in front of the largest villa in the region, Villa Manin. The property was once owned by Ludovico Manin, last Doge of the millennial republic of Venice. Since 1600, Villa Manin was an agricultural compound of high relevance including wide vineyards on plots called “vignis”, now owned by the Vendrame family, and a highly organized and equipped wine cellar. Merging the surname VENDRAME and VIGNIS and adding up the doge’s horn, the family gave birth to the trademark VENDRAME VIGNIS DEL DOGE. With great passion, they have renewed a bit of history by starting and continuing a long time tradition such as vineyard growing and the enological skills typical of this territory.
